Each year the Marine Corps Air Transport Association awards a limited number of academic scholarships to selected  dependents of qualified members who have met eligibility requirements to sponsor an applicant. This year MCATA is proud to announce the establishment of the MCATA Gold Star Family Scholarship, which was made possible by the generosity of MCATA's donors, by way of member and non-member donations alike, for the families and descendants of the 43 Marine heroes named on the VMGR Memorial Monument.
